 We Believe ... Minimize
We believe that The Bible is the 'Bread of Life' and that we need to 'feed on His Word' every day. Jesus said "Man cannot live by bread alone (physical bread), but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of the Father (in heaven) Jesus is Lord - means to us 'Jesus is the person we love and want to please because He died on a cross, to pay the price for our sins (then rose again from the dead after three days in the grave), we now want Him to direct us in every area of our lives, through His Holy Spirit.

Do You Need Food?

Freely we receive and freely we give ... If you are in a financial situation where you aren't able to buy the food you need for your family ... then we would like to help.  Simply come to church Sunday morning and receive some shopping bags of food for FREE, the church is open from 9:45 am each Sunday morning, just ask for Gary or Liz.

You are also welcome to stay for the service, which starts at 10:30 am and finishes at around 12:15; there is always a time of prayer if you feel you need some extra help.

Where Does the FREE Food Come From?

We are partners with the Esther Community Project which is a registered charity (which has received The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service) that has great favour with the major supermarkets like Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.  Each week, the supermarkets have surplus food that they normally have to pay registered waste collectors to dispose of.  June is a Christian with a heart for families and local communities, she approached the major chains and had great favour to receive all their food that is about to exceed the 'sell by date' and then makes it available through churches in the UK.

In a climate of double-dip recession, we believe God has provided  "For such a time as this ... " Esther 4:13-15

How Can Our Church Get Involved?

Gary & Liz Guillon represent our church and organise collection of the food and distribution through the congregation. If you can see God's hand at work here, and feel your church could get involved, then speak to your church leadership and pray about how your church can reach God's people through food ...

Jesus met the needs of His people both spiritually and physically.  Jesus even told his disciples to feed thousands, and through a small faithful amount, God increased a handful, to meet everyone's need.
You can contact June on the website Esther Community Project or 07947 488497
