2:45 Shop in 'The Manse' Parkwood Green, Rainham, Kent, ME8 9PN
Why are we called the 2:45 Shop?
The name comes from an extract in the Bible
Acts, chapter 2, verse 45:
“Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” (NIV Translation)
What do we do?
We aim to collect and recycle unwanted goods, by sharing them with others who need them. Everything is FREE.
We accept clothes, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, baby equipment, children's clothes and toys.
We invite anyone to come in and take what they need, all these goods are free.
However, if people wish to make a donation for the goods they take away, we use the money donated to support the
Medway Women's Refuge.
How can you support us?
Please can you support us by donating only clean, good quality clothes, and any other unwanted items (in good condition).
Please Note:
a) Because of safety concerns, we cannot accept electrical goods or children's car seats.
b) Because of lack of space we cannot accept furniture.
c) Only bring goods at the times we are actually open, or by prior arrangement.
d) Please do NOT leave anything outside 'The Manse' or 'The Church' at any other times.
