2:45 FREE SHOP - WHAT IS IT?
The 2:45 shop is a place where you can bring household items, clothes, books, nick nacks, wool and small pieces of furniture that you feel, even though no use to yourself any more can he recycled and benefit others. The aim of the shop is to recycle our unwanted "stuff" and to bless others in the process. It will also be an excellent way for the church to reach out to the Parkwood community.
WHERE WILL IT BE?
It will be situated in the Manse upstairs in one of the good size rooms.
WHEN IS IT OPEN?
It is open every other Tuesday from lunchtime onwards (please check notice board for which week we are on). The idea of this is for the ladies who come to drop in and anyone else who may be passing by at the time. Also it will be open on the 2nd Sunday in each month after the church service, approx. 12:30 pm
WHEN CAN WE BRING ITEMS IN?
Please bring any items at the times of opening or into the church on a Sunday morning, where they will be stored ready for sorting the following week. Anything you wish to be picked up, please do not hesitate to contact the people below, and we will arrange with you a convenient time. We will not take any electrical goods because of the safety aspect, however, if anyone has an electrical appliance in good condition, this could be put onto the Sunday notice sheet, and anyone interested can then deal direct with the giver.
WILL THERE BE ANY COST?
Any items that you feel could be of use to you are entirely free, although if you feel you would like to donate a small amount, this would be given to one of the valuable causes that the church feel led to support.
